TOAST is poetry, but not as you know it. An evening of spoken word and live performance, TOAST is Norfolk’s biggest regular poetry night. Audiences have called it “heart-filling,” and “immersive” – there’ll always be something you like at TOAST (even if you don’t think you like poetry). Funny, moving, and entertaining, TOAST is a great night out for everyone.
TOAST is produced by Daisy Henwood and hosted by award-winning poet Lewis Buxton.

At TOAST we bring you the best poets in new and exciting ways. If you are a writer looking for new ideas, then join us for an afternoon workshop with one of the country's best writers.
Steven Camden aka Polarbear is an internationally acclaimed spoken word artist, award winning author, poet and storyteller from Smethwick, near Birmingham.
Since first stepping on stage in 2004, he has performed, presented and led creative projects from Manchester to Melbourne and Kuala Lumpur to California. He writes novels, plays, screenplays and poems celebrating his mixed heritage and the amazing people he grew up around, placing his participatory practise and use of story in educational and community settings at the core of all his work.
